1979 Music Man Stingray

Here we have a sweet Pre Ernie Ball Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray from 1979. Neck stamped 1979. This is in the iconic natural finish with maple neck! THE look on a pre Ernie Ball Stingray! There are plenty signs of play wear, small dings, checking in the finish and a large areas of wear on the back of the body, but for its age it is in good shape and plays very well with a nice low action.

It also comes in at a great weight for a Pre EB stingray, at only 4.4kg. The jack socket has recently been replaced and a small area around the neck pocket which had come loose, has been glued back on. Everything is in good working order including the electronics and the trussrod and is honestly the best sounding Pre Ernie Ball Stingray basses we have had in a while. Included is a modern Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray hardcase.
