One of the earliest Precision Basses we have had through our doors at BassBros! This being a fantastic sounding and looking example. It plays beautifully with a low action! This one dates from 1963. It has had a full body and neck refinish including a new decal which is period correct. There are a few small marks to the finish of the body. The neck is stamped 63-C, but the refinish has made it very difficult to read, but can still be seen in certain light. Original potentiometers date to 1962 also. Serial number on the neck plate dates to 1963. Pickups are original as well as original celluloid 3 ply pickguard and shielding guard. Some of the pickguard screws have been replaced. The original pickup covers are included in the case, but the case is not original. We have more photos we can provide of the innards, etc so please get in touch for any more info/photos.
