1977 Music Man Stingray

The holy grail of Pre Ernie Ball Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray basses! This is a vert rare opportunity to own an early Stingray with the original white pickup cover, this one from early 1977. This is in the stunning bass with the rare white pickup cover and longer pole pieces. The body dates to early 1977, as well as the neck. Two of the pots date to 1977 and one has been replaced with a 1979 pot which is quite likely to have happened back in 1979. There are some signs of wear, such as some matting in the finish, and checking throughout. There is also a small ding on the back of the neck at the 2nd fret, but for its age it is in very good condition. It has also had a refret at some point with larger frets. Everything is in good working order including the electronics and the trussrod. Included is a hardcase.
