1980 Ibanez RS800

Here we have a sweet, Ibanez RS800 bass. These are highly regarded and are impeccably built, as you would expect from the Japanese, especially this period! The RS800 features a double-cutaway solid mahogany body with flamed maple top and back bolted to a rock maple neck with tuned response, a 21-fret rock maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock. The instrument is equipped with a Super 4 single-coil pickup, an Accu-Cast B bridge with brass saddles and 19mm string spacing, a bone nut, chrome hardware and Hercules B tuning machines. We have given the bass a full checkover and everything is working correctly including trussrod, electronics. Included is the original hardcase.
