Hofner 500/1 V58 Reissue Violin Bass #12 of 58

A very rare and sought after Hofner V58 ReIssue Violin Bass. This being number 12 of 58. This is a superb example in the vintage sunburst finish with some amazing figuring to the wood. Those who know, know this is a rare bass. This bass has a flat back as opposed to the later violin basses which have a curved back. It is in excellent condition, however there is one small ding on the back of the neck, which has been there since it was bought new. There is also some light lacquer cracking on the back of the neck. We have given the bass a full checkover and everything works perfectly including the trussrod and electronics.
