The BTB555MP features mahogany body with maple top and back bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and white side dots. The body has a double cutaway design with very distinctive, narrow, curving horns. Components include a pair of Bartolini Mk1 5 pickups with a Vari-Mid IIIB 3-band preamp EQ, medium frets, a MR-2 bridge with 16.5mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut and die-cast tuning machines.
