Yamaha BB5000a

Here is a very nice and sought after Yamaha BB5000a from Taiwan! It has 15mm string spacing and plays like a dream. These are very solid workhorse basses with the exceptional build quality you’d expect from the Japanese. There are a few marks and scratches throughout and some small marks on the back of the neck. Overall condition is very good for its age! The original rear pickup had stopped working and a mould was made of it and a new pickup was made. It looks exactly like the original did, with all the same wear and marks as if it had been used for years. However as the original pickups were active, the new one is passive, but the neck pickup is still active, giving a volume difference between the 2. We will include the original pickup with the bass. We have given this bass a full checkover and everything works as it should, including the trussrod and electronics.
