1960/62 Fender Jazz Bass

The earliest Jazz Bass we have had through our doors at BassBros! This being a fantastic sounding, lightweight example. This one dates from 1960/62. It has had a full body and neck refinish including a new decal which is not period correct. The neck is stamped 8-60 (August 1960). Original stack potentiometers date to 1960 also. Serial number on the neck plate dates to 1962, it could be that this has hung around in the workshop for a year or so before getting the serial plate and finished off. Pickups are original although bridge pickup has had a rewind at some point. Original celluloid tortoiseshell pickguard. Some of the pickup screws are non original. We have more photos we can provide of the innards, etc so please get in touch for any more info/photos.
