1966 Fender Precision Bass Slab Body

Certainly one of the rarest basses we’ve ever had through the doors. Fender only ever made 25 to 35 of these basses (less now as Entwistle smashed at least a few up back in the day!), all were destined for the UK. This is a super rare 1966 Fender Precision Bass with slab body! Like most of these basses this one has had a great full refinish. This one also has the most mazing birdseye maple neck which is even rarer on these basses. The body, neck, all hardware and pickups are original, and potentiometers all date to 1966, it is all original down to the screws. It has had a recent refret. The neck is stamped 5th April 66 C. This bass plays extremely well with a great low action all across the board, and it sounds phenomenal, this definitely isn’t just a rare bass, it’s a damn amazing one too! The original hardcase is included.
