1975/77 Fender Jazz Bass

The bass has wonderful character and mojo. The three tone sunburst finish has aged beautifully as these basses do, this really is a great example of a mid/late 70’s jazz bass. Sounds exactly like it should. Tight, bright jazz bass sound. There are some age related dings and wear, this can be seen in the photos. The serial number dates this as a 1975, the pots are dated ’77. It does feature the bigger font so it is an earlier neck. The pickups have been replaced with Dimarzios ans an additional thumbrest fitted further back at some point. Everything works as it should including trussrod, electronics.
