2003 Alleva Coppolo Jazz 4 s/n-0002

If you know what you’e looking at you’ll know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for an extremely early Alleva Coppolo Jazz 4. This bass was built in 2003 and this is one of the VERY FEW basses that Jimmy built with the ‘normal’ headstock. This bass was never intended for sale but given as a gift to pro session player Jason Langley (BIGG REDD). See the photos for more info on this. This bass was originally passive but has now been fitted with an active circuit and the most recent spec 60’s Alleva pickups. The active circuit is in this bass is originally from Paul Turner’s white Alleva Coppolo 5 so is the period correct NYC circuit.

This bass is incredibly rare with a great spec, matching headstock, full Alleva Coppolo electrics, African rosewood fingerboard even including the original gigbag.
